What type of services do you offer?
We are a talented team of makeup and hairstylists with over 10 years of experience in bridal, editorial, commercial work, corporate events, TV & film, photoshoots, music videos, e-commerce, and more. Whether it's your wedding day, a special event, or a professional shoot, we're here to make you look and feel your best.
Bridal Services
For our brides, we offer a range of services including engagement shoots, bridal showers, dress fittings, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, and welcome dinners. Need a refresh or a change of look? We provide return touch-up services to keep you flawless throughout your celebration.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you have a confirmed date, reach out to us! All dates are first-come, first-served. We require a deposit and signed contract for all bridal bookings and special events. Wedding dates are typically booked 12-18 months in advance, and we recommend scheduling your bridal trial 3-6 months before the big day. From May - October, there must be flexibility during the week as there are no trials booked on Saturdays and Sunday availability is limited.
do you travel?
Absolutely! We are a fully mobile beauty team based in Toronto and the GTA, servicing areas like Cambridge, KW, Muskoka, Prince Edward County, and Niagara on the Lake. We also travel for destination weddings and events, having worked in locations such as the East Coast of Canada, Mexico, and Paris. For destinations over 2 hours away, overnight accommodations are required and covered by the client. Travel is billed per artist - please inquire.
How should I prep for my appointment?
To ensure you look your best, we'll provide a detailed prep sheet before your booking. Here are some quick tips:
Makeup: Arrive with a freshly washed face, using only a gentle moisturizer. Bring a reference photo and have access to a large table, a medium-height chair or stool, and natural light. Avoid waxing 3 days prior and lash lifts if you're requesting false lashes. Book any facial treatments 2-3 weeks before your appointment.
Hair: Wash and blow-dry your hair straight the evening or morning of your appointment, focusing on smoothing it from roots to ends. Use minimal conditioner and avoid additional hair products or hot tools. If you plan on using hair extensions, prep them the same way. Bring any hairpieces or your veil to your appointment.
Location: Please ensure that there is ample surface area for us to get set up on. A kitchen table or countertop is ideal. Access to plugs is necessary for hot tools, lighting set-ups or airbrush machines. Bright natural light is ideal. Please no bathroom locations for set-ups, or low-level coffee tables.
If you are getting ready at your venue, please confirm when you gain access to it. Example: Access to the venue is at 10:00 am, and you need to be finished by noon. This will dramatically affect your getting ready timeframe for the day, if not planned out accordingly. An alternative location may need to be arranged if the timeframe is not suitable for your hair and makeup team and total services.
Do you provide hair extensions?
No, we do not provide or rent out hair extensions for wedding day services. We are happy to utilize and work with clip-in hair extensions, as long as they are 100% Remy Human Hair. Should you need recommendations, we will be happy to provide you with some excellent, high-quality brands.
What payment options are available?
We accept Interac e-transfers or EFT bank payments through our invoicing service. Credit cards are also accepted, with an additional 3% processing fee. Cash is welcomed for gratuities.
Cancellation Policy
For special event bookings, including trials, engagement sessions, bridal showers, and others, cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $75 cancellation fee. Once services are confirmed and agreed upon, they cannot be cancelled or reduced. Any changes that decrease the scope of services will still require payment to meet the original agreement. Additional upgrades or extra service requests may be submitted and confirmed based on the availability of additional artists or timing adjustments. Any contract amendments or changes will be subject to a $75 administration fee. For weddings cancelled or postponed within 150 days of the event date, 50% of the total amount due is required. For weddings cancelled within 60 days of the event date, the full amount is due.
